A requirement of Trusted ChoiceSM participation is acceptance of the Trusted ChoiceSM Pledge of Performance. Trusted ChoiceSM agencies should be able to distinguish themselves to stand apart not only from captive agencies and the direct channel, but also from other independent agencies. The Pledge of Performance enumerates independent agents’ points of differentiation: advocacy, choice and customization—benefits consumers consider critically important.
